Outsite The Box | Character Design & Illustration
Outsite The Box had a boxhead character that they sporadically used in their social media and website, however it was usually just a photograph of one of the team members with a box over their head in various situations. So, I decided to make an actual character. One that could be used in many more applications as well as not be reliant on a photograph having to be taken for the exact situation (which was not always realistic!). This character instantly became the de-facto mascot for OTB. It was not only used in social media, but as a recurring theme in the current redesign of the site (which is happening at the moment!) as well as their web-based project proposals, various print layouts, presentation decks, infographics, ppc ad campaigns, email campaigns and anywhere OTB needed a branding presence. He has become quite the beloved character at OTB.
